Privacy policy
In short
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and loads nothing from other servers. Fonts and images are hosted on our own server.
Controller
Pro Extinction, an informal group of private individuals, not a registered association. Contact: info@proextinction.com
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). On every visit Cloudflare processes the data it technically needs: IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system. This keeps the website safe and running (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. How long Cloudflare keeps this data is set out in Cloudflare's privacy policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Storage in your browser
The website keeps a few settings in your browser's storage (localStorage and sessionStorage): light or dark mode, your animation setting and a counter for a logo effect. This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to us. You can delete it in your browser at any time.
Contact by email
If you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete them once the conversation is over, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Links to other services
Links to WhatsApp, Discord, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other services are plain links. A service only receives data from you once you click its link. Its own privacy policy then applies.
Donations
If you donate by bank transfer, we see the details your bank sends with it: name, IBAN, amount and reference. We use them only for our accounts and keep them as long as the law requires (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
If you donate through Ko-fi, the payment goes through Ko-fi and its payment providers. What data that involves is set out in Ko-fi's privacy policy: https://more.ko-fi.com/privacy
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to info@proextinction.com.
You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live.
